Renee Petrie named as VP of Healthcare Business Development & Strategy
ADURO, Inc., the Human Performance company, has appointed Renee Petrie as Vice President of Healthcare Business Development & Strategy bringing decades of experience creating innovative solutions for healthcare. In this new position, she will drive market expansion fueled by ADURO’s digital intervention platform empowering patients to take a more active role in managing their health, well-being and performance.
ADURO has spent the past ten years engaging individuals through its Human Performance approach.
“This is an exciting time at ADURO. With more than 150 clients and one million improved lives, we’ve learned a lot on the employer side about what an empowered life really looks like. This has enabled us to partner with healthcare innovators, like Mercy Health and Edward-Elmhurst, to bridge the worlds of well-being and patient care in a powerful way,” said Dr. Darren White, CEO of ADURO.
With healthcare as ADURO’s fastest-growing vertical, Petrie will lead efforts to coalesce winning strategies from across ADURO’s broad healthcare client base.
“This is the perfect time to join the ADURO team. While the industry has struggled to engage patients and manage risk at the population level, ADURO has been quietly leveraging the success from their employer populations and applying it to health systems. They’ve developed a proven approach to population health and their digital intervention platform is actually changing behaviors and helping people perform better in all aspects of their lives,” said Petrie.
Petrie, a leader in the field of digital healthcare, brings more than 25 years of experience to ADURO. She previously served as Vice President of Strategy for DatStat, a digital health technology company, where she designed patient-centered solutions to complement clinical workflows. She has also served as Assistant Director at the Social Development Research Group at the University of Washington, a nationally recognized research group focused on developing and delivering behavioral interventions.
